This is the band that our track is done by (The Stereo phonics) as you can see they wear quite a casual dress with t-shirt and jeans. We have decided that for our video the singer would be best wearing casual cloths like this for the studio based footage defiantly. We would then review it for the location based footage when we made our prop list for the day.The Singer will ideally for this be very similar dressed to the band as this is what many of our target audience wear. The type of cloths we plan for our singer to be wearing is T-shirt, Trainers, Jeans and maybe a hooded jumper. This will fit our genre well and replicate the style of our genre well.
For our studio footage we decided in the meeting that we would like to re create a live gig situation for the singer. This means that in the video we would like a mic and microphone stand to be present as well as being plugged in for realism sake.
This image to the right is of one of the member of the stereo phonics, this is the same type of image that we wish to create with the mic and mic stand. We are still debating weather to have a guitar in the video or not and if we do wether it should be acoustic or electric but we will decide on this at a later date.For the video we have also decided that we would like the lights visible in the background. We feel this gives a nice effect on the black curtain especially on a highlight were the singer blocks the light giving a halo glow around the singer. A image below is the type of thing that we wish to have in our video.
Now that we have decided a few elements that we would like in the video for the studio footage we will go about storyboarding this part of the video ready for filming. This plans on this post may be subject to change but as it stands these are the plans that we have for the video. The final decision will be made in the Filming Brief and plan as well as the prop list for that day.
